Mayim mentioned that she finished her thesis while breastfeeding Miles. She jokingly added that Miles came out to become a nerd due to the very reason. Mayim even stayed home to raise her children, which was opposite to what most women in science did. She believes it was the right choice for her and her ex-husband Mike. Mayim’s second son Frederick followed his brother three years later when Mayim just finished her thesis, and she is proud that he is a nerd too.

As bizarre as it sounds, Mayim Bialik gave birth to her second child Frederick at her own home alongside her firstborn Miles. The actress trained her son by showing various home birth videos. Mayim Has Her Own Set Of Rules For Parenting

Mayim follows a set of rules as a parent, and while many believe some may be a little farfetched, it does not seem to be the case for her own kids. One of the rules is her kids aren’t allowed to watch Television. Yes, her own kids have not watched a single performance of herself. The actress believes the kids will have a bad influence from it, which is not false at all. This rule may soon change as both of her sons are coming of age now.

Another one of her rules is no smartphones; she doesn’t allow her children to look upon the internet if they need any help. She believes books are more than enough. Mayim’s rules range from not letting her kids watch TV to let her kids sleep with their parents to no yelling. Also, she has made sure that both of her sons are vegan and environment-conscious like her. Mayim also believes in minimal use of medicines and minor health problems should be fought the natural way.
