American journalist and personal trainer Jenna Wolfe is best known for her role as the correspondent for NBC’s Today and Sunday co-anchor. Jenna has been in the industry for more than two decades and will likely continue her work for many more years. The 46-year-old is currently the host of First Things First, which she has been doing since 2017.
Coming to the more personal side of things, Jenna is openly lesbian and is attached to her partner Stephanie Gosk, who is also an American journalist and correspondent who works for NBC News. The couple is proud parents with two children together and first welcomed a baby girl Harper Estelle in the year 2013. Harper recently turned seven, so let’s look at some issues Jenna had to overcome while raising Harper.
Welcoming Her First Daughter With Stephanie Gosk
Jenna has been in the industry for quite some time, but she first became a mother at the age of 39 with her daughter Harper Estelle Wolfeld-Gosk. The couple welcomed their first child, who weighed in at 7 lbs., 13 oz on Aug. 21, 2013, at 7:31 p.m. The couple was feeling over the moon as it was their first take on motherhood. But along with parenthood, there also came challenges of balancing work-life and family life.
The couple has now been parents for more than seven years and has learned a lot about parenting. Switching between being a mother and a TV host has definitely taken a toll on the couple, but they seem to definitely handle it pretty well.

Motherhood Changed Jenna Wolfe
Jenna Wolfe mentioned that motherhood had changed her quite a lot. Jenna wrote for the Time through a letter dedicated to her daughters, how motherhood has changed her through the challenges and obstacles it put forth. She mentioned how life was kind of easy before her first child was born, there was not much going around in her day to day life, and everything seemed pretty simple. From dating long-distance while Stephanie was in London to deal with her travels to some of the world’s most dangerous places as a war correspondent while also coming out as a lesbian couple in national television seemed effortless for Jenna.
Jenna mentioned that she now has too much to lose in excuse of her tempt for kicks. She would look dozens of times while crossing the road while also opting out from her adventurous activities like bungee and skydiving. Jenna wrote in the emotional letter that she would wish to be her daughters’ support and protector all their life, but she can not. Being a mother has definitely changed a lot about Jenna and Stephanie’s life.
Stephanie And Jenna Welcomed Their Second Daughter
After the birth of Harper in 2013, Jenna and Stephanie welcomed their second daughter Quinn Lily Wolfeld-Gosk into this world on February 4, 2014. The couple was worried about the birth of Quinn and especially Jenna. She would think things like, will she fit in? Will I be able to love her as much as Harper? and many more.

But after Quinn’s birth, Jenna has realized it’s not the same love she has for both. Jenna found out you can equally love your children, but the love itself is of a different type. The family of four are always together and share an emotional bond, unlike any other family as they have two mothers instead of one.
